Starlit Keepsakes: Design Your Afrofuturistic Treasure Box is an innovative community workshop that seamlessly blends art, history, and storytelling to inspire and empower participants. This program invites individuals to envision their futures by reflecting on the items, stories, and symbols that hold the most significance to them, allowing them to explore their personal values, aspirations, and legacies.
Participants will decorate treasure boxes, transforming them into personalized vessels for these special artifacts, symbolizing their dreams and aspirations. Everyone is encouraged to bring their photos or images for decoration. Participants will preserve their cherished memories through this creative and reflective activity and contribute to a collective vision of a better world.
Street parking is always free on weekends and after 6 PM, other parking can be found on DAP website.
